Kingdom Job Seekers

Start Here: Battle for the Workplace

There’s a spiritual battle being fought over the workplace. The armies of the Lord and true followers of Christ are warring against the forces of the Enemy and the economy of the world. What’s being fought for is the hearts of workers including, unfortunately, the hearts of many believers who don’t even realize they’ve been captured and imprisoned in this battle. That statement may strike you as odd and you may be wondering how hearts could be won or lost in the workplace. In many cases the hearts of those in the workplace may seem to be nowhere in sight….

Are You God’s Employee?

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your bodyand in your spirit, which are God’s. 2 Corinthians 6:19-20 Okay, okay, so you’ve seen this scripture but it really doesn’t have any practical meaning for you.  You know that Jesus paid the price that covers ALL your sins—past, present, and future—and you believe you are headed to Heaven one day.  But, beyond that, this verse really doesn’t…

Jesus is Calling an Angelic Audible!

This is the insight given to Ann on Nov 6, 2020… An audible (pronounced ô’de-bul) is a verbal instruction that can slightly change the predetermined play, or completely scrap it for something else. A quarterback often calls an audible when he doesn’t like how the offensive play that was called matches up with the defensive formation. When and Where to Audible As the offensive and defensive lines get set at the line of scrimmage, where the ball rests after the last play was completed, the offense gets its first look at what a defense plans to do. Remember the Sabbath?

What has caused believers everywhere to think that honoring the Sabbath is now optional?  Somehow, for many of us “commandment” has become “suggestion” and that really only if you feel like it.  Jesus honored the Sabbath so if our intention is to imitate Him (and it should be!) we would  still set aside one full day out of every seven as the Lord’s Day. For twenty four hours we would put our focus, energy, and attention on God and Him alone.  (And let’s not get distracted by whether that day should be Saturday or Sunday—chances are the ones having that argument…

How Dirty Is Your Windshield?

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12 It’s really hard to grasp the practical truth of the above scripture, especially when we’re in the midst of a life change and it’s so dark we cannot see the way ahead of us.  At times the road can be so  obscured we can’t even see the next step in front of us, let alone the upcoming intersections that will call for some choices and decisions on our part….
