28- September Knock and Faint Not!
Ephesians 6:10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power
What does it mean to be “strong in the Lord?” And what is this mighty power that we are to walk in? The answer can be found in this simple statement — God is love. God Himself is love and love is God. So if we want victory in our life, we must be powered by love.
Brother Lawrence had the right idea when he said, “All things are possible to those who believe; still more to those who hope; still more to those who love; and most of all to those who practice all three”. Our power is found in faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love. So as we go through our job search today let’s go out in the love of God and share it with everyone we meet.
DECLARE THIS:
• I have the love of Jesus in me and it gives me power.
• By faith I receive the strength of the Lord and the power of His might to accomplish His will for my life.
• I thank God that I don’t have to rely on my own strength or wisdom or power.
