29- October Knock and Be Encouraged
2 Corinthians 6:10 Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.
Nothing says we have to enjoy being out of the workforce (although we certainly could find joy in a season of unemployment if it is the alternative to a toxic work environment). Still, we have been designed for community and for creating, so it’s no wonder that we miss being part of the workplace. But in the midst of our sorrow “we have joy” for we are complete in Christ. This season will pass and you will come through it in victory if you obey God’s instructions. Along the way you can bring love, peace, joy and blessing to all those that you encounter.
Give your time and spiritual riches to others and keep looking for the harvest that has been prepared for you in return for the seed you plant. We are always able to bring God glory through the way we live our lives and we can always bring the gift of Jesus Christ to others.
DECLARE THIS:
• I have the joy of the Lord and eternal life in Him.
• By faith I receive encouragement and strength to share with others and to bring God glory.
• I thank God that my purpose is higher than a daily job; that I am blessed to be a blessing.
