2 Timothy 1:9 For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.
George MacDonald, a well known Christian writer of the 1800’s once said, “This is a sane, wholesome, practical working faith; that it is a man’s business to do the will of God; second, that God Himself takes on the care of that man and third, that therefore, that man ought never to be afraid of anything.” That pretty much sums up the whole Kingdom lifestyle.
God’s plan has been to show us His grace and His love. Not one bit of this marvelous plan hinges on our ability to earn His grace. Jesus simply came to show us how deeply and perfectly God loves us. Knowing that, let us now walk in our purpose by allowing Christ to rule and reign in our hearts. As we do the will of God, we’ll live holy lives and fear will be banished from our lives.
DECLARE THIS:
• I will to will the will of God. I know His will for me is perfect and wonderful.
• By faith I believe that all my needs are met as I follow God.
• I believe that I am in Christ and filled with the grace and love of God.
