4- July Choose Your Boss
Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains tumble into the sea.
As we go through this season of challenge and uncertainty, we go in God’s strength. He’s always ready to help us in times of trouble and most of us would consider unemployment a time of trouble. Notice what God offers — strength and refuge. His supernatural strength is our strength. Whenever we feel lost and insecure we can return to Him as our shelter and dwell in peace.
Remember this as you go through the job hunt. God wants us to rely on His strength, not ours. He wants us to run to Him for shelter and to expect His miracle-working help whenever we encounter trouble. No economic earthquake or
mountain of debt can harm us now that we belong to Him. Now that’s a great employer!
DECLARE THIS:
• I trust in the strength of the Lord and the Hand of God to help me.
• By faith I invite God to help me in my times of trouble and I know He will answer my prayers.
• When I encounter trouble I run to the Lord who shelters me.
