30- July                Knock and Keep Knocking

Malachi 3:2  “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears?  For He is like a refiner’s fire  And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD  an offering in righteousness. (NKJV)

Who could possibly like the thought of being refined in fire and washed with laundry soap?
But consider the result. When we allow the Lord to purify us, all the addictions, bad habits,
character flaws and things that have held us back get burned away, never to return. As God works on us He will do for us what we could not do for ourselves. When our Maker can see His reflection in us, His work will be complete. Let’s confess our sins and shortcomings to God and tell Him about the things that seem to be hindering our progress and preventing our success. Then let’s trust the Refiner who loves us. As we become more like Him we will be able to give ourselves to Him, a true and righteous offering.

DECLARE THIS:
• I bring all that I have and all that I am to the Lord for His refining process.
• I receive God’s promise that He will complete the work He began in me.
• I receive the righteousness of Christ and will surrender all that does not match my true nature in Him.
