28- July Knock and Faint Not!
Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.
I’ve often listened to job seekers speaking doubt and unbelief. When I confront them about it they say, “I’m only human. I can’t help it if I get down.” That’s not true. We must set our faces like stone and determine to do God’s will. We have to make a once-and-for-all- time decision to believe our God is sovereign and that His promises to deliver, protect and provide for us are true. No matter what the circumstances look like, if we fill our hearts and minds with faith in Him we will make room for God to move on our behalf. Then we can have confidence that we will not be put to shame or disgraced.
DECLARE THIS:
• I have decided to place all my trust in the Word of God.
• By faith I receive God’s help in this season of unemployment and I know He is more than able to meet my needs.
• I am not ashamed to be unemployed for I am a child of God and joint heir with Jesus. There is no disgrace in my situation.
