25- July Knock and Exercise Your Faith
Judges 6:12 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!” Gideon said to Him, “O my lord,[a] if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”
Gideon didn’t think of himself as a mighty man of valor. He was hiding out, threshing wheat under cover, when the angel found him. Of course, Gideon had good reason to be afraid. He thought God had abandoned him and his people. But God knew Gideon to be a man of valor because that’s how God designed him. So God called Gideon, the two of them spent some time getting acquainted, and then mighty exploits were accomplished. That can be your story too. You might feel that God has abandoned you. Make a quality decision right now, today, to trust His Word. Declare His promises and seek His face. Together you will accomplish great things.

• I am filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and led by God.
• I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am only moved by the Word of God.
• I can do what God says I can do and I have what the Word says I have.
