6- October Choose Your Work
Matthew 22:37 And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principle) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.
Our God is a jealous God, we’ve been told. He isn’t willing to share any part of you with any other God and He’s not willing to be lower than our top priority. He wants our thoughts and our will to align with His, our emotions to be in obedience to His Word, and our hearts filled with His presence. But this is not to meet His needs. It’s so we can receive the fullness of His blessing.
When we come all the way into His Kingdom we will experience days of heaven on earth. Our entire job description for Kingdom life has been designed to position us for victory and prosperity. When we give all we’ve got to Him, He has room to work and He’ll respond with all we’ll ever want or need.
DECLARE THIS:
• I keep God at the center of my life. He is my greatest priority.
• By faith I turn my mind, will and emotions toward God and bring Him all my love.
• I trust that the Holy Spirit will increase my ability to love so that I can better worship the Lord and obey this command.
