2 Timothy 1:7 – For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (NKJV)
God did not give us a spirit of fear. That’s good to know. Now let’s look at the Spirit of power, love and a sound mind that He did give us! The Holy Spirit is an essential part of our born-again identity. We have been made into containers for God Himself! Fear has to flee from the perfect love we hold inside. It cannot exist in the presence of God. Better still, He comes to us as a free gift. We don’t have to build up the love of God in us and we don’t have to chase after it in order to fill ourselves with it. We are already full! In Him our minds are sound and our thoughts are clear. We just have to realize what we have and step aside to release God’s power and light from within.

- I am free of fear for I am filled with the presence of God Himself.
- By faith I receive a revelation of the Spirit of God that lives in me now.
- I have the power and love and mind of Christ Jesus within me.
