If fear was necessary to life, God certainly would have given it to us.  But He didn’t! The Bible is very clear about it. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7, NLT)  That’s new news to many of us.  Fear is a evil spirit and it doesn’t come from God. Understand this, if God is not the author of fear then it’s an enemy spirit and we need to deal with it accordingly. Remember the Sabbath?

What has caused believers everywhere to think that honoring the Sabbath is now optional?  Somehow, for many of us “commandment” has become “suggestion” and that really only if you feel like it.  Jesus honored the Sabbath so if our intention is to imitate Him (and it should be!) we would  still set aside one full day out of every seven as the Lord’s Day.
