13-September Ask About Your Gifts
Numbers 18:6 Behold, I Myself have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel; they are a gift to you, given by the LORD, to do the work of the tabernacle of meeting. (NKJV)
Imagine God introducing you to a group of people and telling them that you are His gift to them! That is precisely His message about you. He designed us for a specific Kingdom purpose and when we operate in our gifts we are a blessing to others. As we come to understand our awesome design and gifts, our approach to the workplace will be different. No longer will we look for a place that is willing to hire us. Instead we’ll be looking for the perfect place to put our gifts to work blessing others.
So don’t undervalue yourself. When a hiring manager asks, “What are you worth?” The most accurate answer would be “You could never afford what I’m worth!” Of course, you won’t want to say that out loud, but in your heart you’ll know it’s true.
DECLARE THIS:
• I am a gift from God to the workplace. I bless everyone I work for.
• I receive guidance from the Holy Spirit about the places to use my gifts.
• I freely give because I have freely received so much from the Lord.
