Psalm 34:10   The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. (Amplified Bible)

God promises a select group of people that none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. Are we in that privileged group? It looks like three things are required — you must seek the Lord, have a need, and rely on the authority of His Word. Without confidence in that authority, without the ability to stand on the Word no matter what, we’ll still be in lack.

But, when we know the Word and we know the character of God, we can command our blessing in the name of Jesus. No matter what the challenge, crisis, or need, God’s Word has a promise that will trump that problem. Find it, believe it and call the promise into being on the authority of the Word. What are you waiting for? A new job certainly qualifies as a beneficial thing, doesn’t it?

DECLARE THIS:
• God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.
• By faith I believe what God says in His Word and I will not be moved.
• My problems are nothing to the God who created all things. I trust Him to handle my needs for me.
