10-April Choose Your Behavior
Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. (NLT)
It never occurred to me that my life and my livelihood would depend on being “suited up” for battle. But now I know, because I’ve gone out without God’s armor to protect me, and I have the scars to prove it. Our effectiveness and success will require every piece of this spiritual armor — God’s truth to fill us, His salvation to deliver us, Christ’s righteousness to empower us, our faith to guard us, and His Word and Spirit to mount our defense. Once we recognize that the battle is real and the stakes are high, we’ll begin to understand the need for this armor and the great value it holds for us. Thank God He has it all laid out for us — and in our size, too!
DECLARE THIS:
• I have all that I need to win every battle against the enemy.
• By faith I receive the empowerment to use all of God’s weapons.
• I stand firm against the enemy because I have been well trained and perfectly equipped.
