13-November Ask About Your Gifts
Psalm 139:14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
It’s important for job seekers to ask God about their gifts because many of us aren’t even sure we have any. Beyond that we need to know He has a plan to put our design to good use. Imagine our Heavenly Father creating us in His very image and likeness, giving us talent, passion, energy and life, only to have the whole design sit unnoticed on a shelf.
Nonsense! It isn’t humble to think less of ourselves than we ought. And it isn’t okay to keep our gifts hidden. It’s wasteful. We are created to make important contributions for the Kingdom. Don’t let another day go by without finding out what your gifts are and how to put them to use.
DECLARE THIS:
• I know that God has made me and given me gifts to bring to the workplace.
• By faith I activate my gifts to bless others and to build the body of Christ.
• I will use my gifts to create and to bring glory to God.
