5-October Choose Your Benefits
John 15:11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! (NLT)
Imagine looking at the employee benefits of a prospective employer and finding “joy” on the list! Would that be a great place to work? This is precisely what God offers us in Christ Jesus. In fact, He wants us to be so joy-filled that it pours out and splashes on everyone around us! If you don’t know that joy is on God’s “benefits list,” you might not look for or expect it. But it’s there, and you can! The joy Jesus felt, the complete joy that comes from God’s overwhelming and perfect love, can be yours! Right now, in this season of unemployment ask Jesus to release it in your life.
There’s no reason you can’t be filled with joy during your job search. The world can’t do this, but believers can, by God’s grace.
DECLARE THIS:
• I experience the joy of the Lord. My happiness is not based on my circumstances.
• By faith I release worry, concern and sadness as I go through my job search.
• I receive the Word of God, the things Jesus has told me, and I have joy unspeakable!
