4- October Choose Your Boss
Ephesians 6:6 … As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart.
“Slaves of Christ” — I’d say that makes our employment situation pretty clear. The term slave or bondservant is important here. We don’t really understand what it means to be a slave, to be another person’s property. Yet we are not our own — Christ became our Master when we accepted our salvation. He owns us and we need to be “sold out” to Him.
Just wait until we really discover that our Master is the richest, most powerful, and most awesome Master ever, and He bought us simply because He wants to shower us with blessings. What could be better than that?
DECLARE THIS:
• I am completely sold out to the One who gave His life to purchase mine.
• By faith I accept that God’s will for me is far better and far beyond what I could imagine for myself.
• I will to will the will of God.
