13-October   Ask About Your Gifts

2 Kings 5:15   And he returned to the man of God, he and all his aides, and came and stood before him; and he said, “Indeed, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, except in Israel; now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.” (NKJV)

Sometimes we take gifts for granted.  Often we don’t appreciate the true value of a gift. Think about the poor widow Jesus spoke about, “But she out of her poverty put in the entire
livelihood that she had.” It doesn’t matter if we’re out of work, if money is tight, or if we don’t know where the next dollar is coming from–may we never take God’s blessing and our Kingdom inheritance for granted.

Just because our design, our life, our daily provision and our eternal salvation are all gifts that have been freely given to us doesn’t mean they aren’t priceless. When we truly realize what we’ve been given, we’ll respond to God with whatever we can find to give — our time, our money, our fellowship, and our talents.

DECLARE THIS:
• I am grateful to God for His priceless gifts to me and I look for ways to bring Him gifts of thanksgiving.
• By faith I take my gifts and invest them in the Kingdom so that I might produce a great harvest for the Lord.
• I am ever mindful of what the Lord has done for me.
