17-May Seek the Direction of the Holy Spirit
Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps. (NLT)
Notice the cooperation and partnership between God and man here. We are not puppets. In fact, we have been invited to co-labor with God. He wants us to tell Him the things we are passionate about and what we want to do for the Kingdom. It’s likely that the things we care deeply about are the very desires that God placed in our hearts before the foundation of the earth.
God expects us to contribute to His plan using our ideas and creativity. We’re His children, destined to rule for all eternity, so let’s get started. As we dream great dreams, He will show us how to accomplish them. What’s more, He has promised to work right alongside us. What a partnership!
DECLARE THIS:
• I work for the Lord and He labors with me to accomplish great things.
• By faith I trust God to reveal how I can contribute to His kingdom with my energy and creativity.
• I trust that the Lord will show me how to accomplish whatever I set my hands to do.
