30- December Knock and Keep Knocking
1 Corinthians 10:13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
The difference between believers and the rest of the world is that we know we have a faithful God who will never leave us. God is going to do a work with us. He is going to give us the strength to avoid temptation. So when the job search seems unending and your resources are disappearing, don’t despair. Avoid every temptation to look for “an easy way out”, fall back into a bad habit, or try to escape responsibility and run away.
Remember, you’re not on your own to make things work. Don’t try to rely on your own strengths, talents, or will power. Let God do the “heavy lifting”. He will show you a way out.
DECLARE THIS:
• I stand in faith that God is able to make a way out for me.
• I believe that God will never leave me or forsake me.
• In Christ I can withstand the temptation to look for my own shortcuts and escape routes. I will follow as the Lord leads me.
