11-December Ask Expecting Results
Mark 10:29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.”
Perhaps you know how good it feels to invest a dime and get back a dollar. That’s a ten-fold return. Now look at what Jesus tells us to expect — a 100-fold return! He’s not talking about a heavenly reward either, but a return “in this present age.” Of course, we’ll still experience the enemy’s persecution, but who cares? When we know that we can expect a 100-fold return for whatever we give up at God’s command and in pursuit of Jesus and His Kingdom, what else matters?
So now you know. Expect outrageous results in your life of obedience, and receive the prosperity God has stored up for you.
DECLARE THIS:
• I believe that God is an extravagant rewarder of those that follow Him.
• By faith I receive the promised return on my Kingdom investments. I give freely and expect an abundant harvest.
• I do not give in order to get but I know I cannot out-give God!
