Matthew 25:11 “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’
This verse tells us a master’s response to a servant who successfully fulfilled his purpose. Did you notice that the servant was faithful in handling a small amount? We also have an assignment — to demonstrate God’s love. We don’t need to be great evangelists or preachers to do this. We just have to be faithful with what we’ve been given. What does this have to do with a job search? Everything!
We can take the little we have, while we’re unemployed, and use it for the Kingdom. We can share love and support and encouragement with others right now. In so doing, we can be assured that our Master will reward us with a place in the workplace where we can have an even greater impact.
DECLARE THIS:
• I invest my gifts and talents in others for the sake of the Kingdom.
• By faith I receive wisdom and direction in order to use my gifts as God has designed.
• Each day I will bring God a return on the love He has invested in me.
